Are you using client certificates issued by a self-signed CA?

From my experience any TSVN higher than 1.7.6 fails to authenticate via client certificates. I'm running Apache 2.2.22 on Ubuntu Server 12.04LTS amd64.

Is your server using a commercial or self-signed certificate (I mean the server certificate)? Does TSVN connect once the client certificate authentications is switched off (but HTTP encryption is still on)?
