Error opening a new file in Check for modifications

To see what changed in the repository a 'Check for modifications' with a subsequent 'Check repository' is used. A new file in the repository but not yet updated to the working copy is shown with 'Remote text status' 'added'. Clicking on that file or performing an 'Open' from the context menu leads to an error message box "Subversion reported an error: '%TEMP%' is not a working copy" where %TEMP% is the value of the corresponding environment variable.

We noticed the behavior with TortoiseSVN-1.7.99.24016 and TortoiseSVN-1.7.11, with Tortoise 1.6.15 it worked.
