connection error

I looked on the official forums and see that there is no fix for the following error message:

Error: Unable to connect to a repository at URL
Error: '<repository url>'
Error: To better debug SSH connection problems, remove the -q option from 'ssh' in the
Error: [tunnels] section of your Subversion configuration file.
Error: Network connection closed unexpectedly

I have asked previously here. I am able to use other clients. Should assume this is a known issue and has not been addressed due to lack of response?
