Open file in working copy from log dialog

Hi list,

I'd really like the functionality to open (and "open with") a file from the lowermost pane of the log dialog. There is an "Open" context menu item (which I almost never use), but that one downloads and opens a temporary copy of the log revision of that file. I want to open the file in its current local state from the working copy (if it still exists, of course).

I often find myself reviewing changes using the log dialog and having to make additional changes to those files. At the moment I have to navigate to the path in Explorer and open the file.

Of course this option will not be available if the log dialog was invoked from the repo browser.

If you also like the idea, I'd be happy to see such an option in some future release.

Regards,
André
