I suppose that's just a matter of taste, which is why it's so nice that TortoiseMerge made it a customizable option! I, for instance, would definitely use it, while others who don't like it, would disable it.

As for my use of 'is correct': let me then rephrase that and use 'makes the most sense' ... ;-)
