I have installed this new version, because of crash with another application. My intention was to get rid of the nightly build.
It was to be expected that NIS is going to complain about reputation of such a new release. However, another came up during the installation. The installation could not continue since a Symantec application was blocking a part which required update. Unfortunately, I did not write down the message.
I had decided to stop the installation through the indicated button. This left the computer unusable. Menu bar of windows was missing. ctrl+alt+delete allowed starting the task manager. I did not see unusual activity and did a reboot (through another ctrl+alt+delete).
The second time the installation went through as normal. So the problem cannot be reproduced.
