Bug: tortoise 1.7.7 Commit dialog does not show modified files in externals directory

I've already posted this as a reply to another thread, but since it went unnoticed, I'm posting it again:

I have externals from the same repository as subfolders.

Root:

https://.../svn/Prod%e2%80%8bucts/1stAnswer/Proje%e2%80%8bct/trunk

Externals:

FirstAnswer.Core https://.../svn/Prod%e2%80%8bucts/1stAnswer/Core/%e2%80%8btrunk
FirstAnswer.Data https://.../svn/Prod%e2%80%8bucts/1stAnswer/Data/%e2%80%8btrunk
FirstAnswer.Web https://.../svn/Prod%e2%80%8bucts/1stAnswer/Web/t%e2%80%8brunk

If I edit files in Core and Data for example and click commit in the root folder, I used to see the changes from the subfolders as well and was able to commit them all together.

In 1.7.7 this is no longer working. I only see changes in the root folder, not in the externals-subfolders.
