I'm sorry, but like David you also fail to provide a conclusive reason,
as to why a frame and a label prevent the next iteration of this
complaint. Setting aside, that it hasn't been "proven", how on earth
could it be confusing that when you want to install TortoiseSVN and end
up with an executable called "SuperDuperHighSpeedDownload-Install.exe"?
There's also the signature validation for the extra cautious.

The point is, that this hosting model is based on advertising. If you
don't like that, provide a better solution. Sponsor the hosting and
there will be no more complaints about the ads. N.B. I don't speak for
Stefan or the TortoiseSVN team, this is just my 2ยข.
