Hi, Adam,

> Is it possible that a recent TortoiseSVN client upgrade to 1.7.1 could have introduced byte-order markers to the front of an XML file? The behavior that I'm seeing is that when I generate the XML and FTP it directly to my test server, I don't see the BOM, but when I check it into subversion (server version 1.6.16) and then from subversion (linux client version 1.6.17) to my test server, the BOM is introduced. Any ideas? I've been using this tool chain for more than a year now and this BOM problem only appeared in the last couple weeks.
Are there any "special" properties set on that file, mainly svn:eol-style, svn:keywords, svn:mime-type?
Did you lately change any of those properties on the file?
Best regards
Markus Schaber
