incomplete update - what did i just do?

Hi, noob SVN user here. I was mousing fast and hit 'SVN Update' when I meant 'SVN Commit'. I cancelled it almost (but not quite) immediately, and now when I try to commit the window has two directories showing Text Status 'incomplete'.

What did I do, and how do I get to a good state?

I haven't made any other SVN actions since that accidental update. That's where it stands now. TYVM.
