lag time with 1.7 Repo Browser

Hello,

I have upgraded my Subversion server from 1.6 to 1.7 and now users are
experiencing 60-90 second delays when issuing svn commands and/or
launching the TortoiseSVN Repo Browser.

I am using svn+ssh protocol.

We never experienced this using 1.6. Is something going on behind the
scenes?
