Andy,

I'm using the tigris.org web interface - I'm not replying to this via email. Hence, you have to press "Quote Original" in order to quote everything. I guess I didn't do that before. I've quoted your message below. In any case, perhaps you should direct your comments to the maintainers of the tigris.org web interface - that might be more productive for you.

Regarding your questions about providing links to the references: while I do appreciate your time and effort, I didn't feel that looking up (again) all those references to importing projects that had specifically mentioned importing directly to the project directory, and not to the "trunk" sub-directory, was really necessary for answering the question. Rather, I felt that you were looking for some sort of proof that these references actually said what I quoted them as saying. Perhaps I misunderstood your intentions. Regardless, I didn't feel like that question was very relevant, hence I chose not to put in the effort to answer it.

Regarding your second question about potentially glossing over a step, yes, I suppose it's possible, but the way the references appeared, I doubt it.

In the end, problem solved: I just imported into the trunk directory.

thanks.
