That I know, the problem is that the text show up faulty from the beginning. Since that text is generated by Tortoise, it is not in the file to start with. So I am not addressing the Python problem but rather that Tortoise is creating those strange chars in the date:-tag. I have not created the file myself but I am subscribing to a folder containing the file.
