SVN connection failed

Hi,

I have recently got my system with windows7.Installed SVN1.7.1 and tried to get files from server.Initially it worked fine. But after few days when i tried to update files from server to local again i got the following error.

Error: Unable to connect to a repository at URL
Error: 'https://svn.playspan.com/svn/wallet/trunk/talent'
Error: The OPTIONS request returned invalid XML in the response: XML parse error at
Error: line 1: no element found (https://svn.playspan.com/svn/wallet/trunk/talent)

With my friends help i created a proxy server and added to it. I use Eclipse as IDE to develop code in PHP.

I made changes in svn setting by clearing all saved data.Configured network settings accordingly.Then now iam getting the below error.

Error: Unable to connect to a repository at URL
Error: 'https://svn.playspan.com/svn/wallet/trunk/talent'
Error: OPTIONS of 'https://svn.playspan.com/svn/wallet/trunk/talent': Could not create
Error: SSL connection through proxy server: Could not read status line: connection
Error: was closed by proxy server (https://svn.playspan.com)

I made sure that i have write permissions to the drive iam trying to get the files. My firewalls are disabled.
Server has sufficient memory.

Can any one help me to get rid of this issue please.
I got stuck with this since 2 days.
