Oops! Forgot about the truly outstanding feature in Windows that hides the underscores on the hotkeys. Gee, that's S-O-O-O handy...

So, yes, there is a hotkey on the "New" command. I'll give it a try, though I'd still like a way to control where the Tortoise menu items go (or to remove them entirely).
