Relative server hostname fails for

When I try to use the relative server hostname for an external reference in a repository located on a local disk drive, attempts to checkout a working copy while browsing fails to generate a correct URL.

Actual URL: file:///W:/svn.test/reference

Generated URL: file:///svn.test/reference

When either a checkout or update is attempted, TortoiseVSN fails to place the drive letter in the URL, causing it to issue the following error message:

----
W:\explore\reference
Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'file:///svn.test/reference'
Unable to open an ra_local session to URL
Unable to open repository 'file:///svn.test/reference'

Here is detail on the exact Tortoise SVN revision used.
