WinXP SP2 DEP killing part of TortoiseSVN

I'm new to TortoiseSVN so this is a virgin install of the latest (downloaded yesterday). I also don't have an older version to try. System and application details at the bottom. I've attached a couple screen dumps.

If I launch help from the context menu:
  1. The help dialog comes up and looks normal and works like a help dialog should.
  2. Immediately with it I get a "Data Execution Prevention" dialog indicating that "Windows has closed this program". It hasn't yet because I can use the help.
  3. When I close the DEP dialog I get an error dialog that refers to MS HTML Help Executable and want's to know if I want to report the issue.
  4. I can use the help function as long as I ignore either dialog. When I click through the error reporting dialog it and the help function go away.

** Note that if I launch ToiroiseSVN_en.chm from the installation directory directly it comes up normally with no DEP or error dialogs. It just works.

I can run the repo-browser from the context menu (e.g. from my desktop) with no problem. No problem connecting to and browsing our repository.

However, launching some functions from the browser creates problems:
  - "Show Log":
    1. Pops up and populates.
    2. Immediately, I get the windows dialog indicating the application ToiroiseProc.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Asks if I want to send an error report.
    3. If I move the error dialog aside I can review the log without problems (note my familiarity with them is about zero).
    4. If I click "don't send" (and I assume report) the err dialog goes away and the Show Log window goes away.
  - "Revision graph": Same as "Show Log"
  - "Help" (button in the lower right): Same this as "Show Log" and no DEP dialog.

I've tried the browsers from several directories so it's not associated with the desktop.

I haven't figured out how to launch the browser via TorroiseProc.exe to test if doing that avoids the "DEP" issues.
