Moving Comments from the original code to the new code while Merging and committing to SVN.

Hi All,

I am using TortoiseSVN 1.6.15, Build 21041 - 32 Bit , 2011/03/23 18:00:27
Subversion 1.6.16.

I wanted to know, if this tool allows us or has a facility to get the comments of the original class to the newly merged class while merging the code from one release to another in SVN.

For example: I have a Class A.java checked in to SVN under Release 1 with comments as -> "Fixed for defect 1."
and I have the same class A.java checked in to SVN under Release 2 with comments as -> "Fixed for defect 2."

I wanted to know if there is a way to get the comment "Fixed for defect 1." while merging the code from Release 1 to Release 2 automatically.
