Switching Question - TortoiseSVN 1.7.0, Build 22068 - 64 Bit

Hello,

I am currently using TortoiseSVN 1.7.0, Build 22068 - 64 Bit  on Windows 7 and am having a bit of a problem switching my working copies.  I have several branches in my project and when I switch from branch to branch, or from the trunk to a branch, my working copy isn't being updated.  I see that the revision number is changing, but the content is not being updated.  I may have this wrong, but I believe that in the past when I moved from the trunk to a branch which contained files that weren't in the trunk, then these files were pulled into my working copy when I performed the switch.  If I create a new folder and update from a certain branch then I have no problems, but switching just doesn't seem to be doing anything other than changing the revision number.  I have tried multiple options within the switch dialog and still can't seem to get this worked out - if I switch from the trunk, which is identical to a branch except it is missing one
new file, to a branch then my working copy still doesn't contain the new file, but all of the paths have been updated and TortoiseSVN reports that I am working on that branch.

Any help, or clarification of my misunderstanding of how swiching should work, is appreciated!

Thank you,

Matt
