You should never see a + on the repository. Do you mean the working copy?

Are you sure that is the exact error message? I'm guessing it didn't
really say 'fire'. Did it mention 'Transaction'? If it did then it
looks like a server error message.

If you have moved folders in the repository then you may as well
restore it from backup. You can't mess with a repository like that. If
you mean the working copy then try making a fresh checkout.
