1.7 lazy undo after paste over selection

In the beta of TortoiseMerge, if you select some text and perform a paste (to
replace the selection with the clipboard contents in one go), and then undo, you
need to undo a second time to get back to where you started from, as opposed to
1.6. To my surprise Paste is not listed in the Edit menu, so I guess with
"paste" I mean the hidden feature of pressing Ctrl-V or Shift-Insert...
