The TSVN 1.7 release notes at
http://tortoisesvn.net/tsvn_1.7_releasenotes.html#win7libs mention, "If
you put the root folder of your working copies in that new library
folder, you get four buttons at the top of the explorer which execute
the most used commands: Commit, Update, Check for modifications and Show
log."
However, this doesn't seem to be working for me... The TSVN installer
did create a "Subversion" library, and I used "Include a folder..." from
the library's Properties to add the root of a working copy. The folder
shows up in the library, but I don't get the special TSVN buttons at the
top--when I select the root folder in the tree on the left, there's only
the usual Organize, Share with, Burn, and New folder.
Also, does it only work if you add the WC root to the library? The
screenshot in the release notes seems to show the entire D: drive added
to the library, with "commitmonitor" being a WC root. I have my folders
organized similarly--C:\Dev isn't a WC root, but has a number of
subfolders that are; I'd like to be able to include C:\Dev in the
library, rather than having to add each of the WCs individually. FWIW, I
tried doing that and got the same results--no TSVN buttons at the top,
even when a WC is selected.
I'm running Win7 SP1 x64.
