'Leave' a project

A few months ago I used TSVN to check out a Linux project. I've been helping its authors to port it to Windows. The author has now decided to create an official Windows fork, which means I need to abandon my current version and do a full checkout from the new repository for the Windows version.

But how do I 'leave' a project? Do I just delete all the project files or is there a cleaner way?

Or alternatively, my current version of TSVN is now a couple of months old - so should I just uninstall it and re-install the latest version?

John
