You are wrong. In properties dialog of a file or folder I can rename it, I can change they attributes (read only etc), for files I can modify extension to app association, I can modify Access, Sharing and much much more.

By the way, in Subversion tab of properties I already can open AND MODIFY subversion's properties of the file.

Yes, it must be there too. But it not contrary to my suggestion.
