Greetings,
Please disregard the below, after complaining to our server team yet
again, a different tech went in and checked. They had misspelled my
username. Problem solved.

Subject: Weird Case Sensitivity Issue
Greetings,
I am having a problem committing something. I can update as much as I'd
like with no issue, but when I run a commit, I get the following error
message returned.
Commit failed (details follow):
access to '/repos/fusion/!svn/act/d13457dd-d27d-2e48-9e63-dfcc0754135f'
forbidden
There are other members of my team who seem to be able to commit just
fine. The main difference between me and them is that I have a newer
computer with Windows 7 and they are still on XP Pro. I used a
copy-pasted URL when checking out the repo and I've already
triple-checked that it is the same resource that the other members of my
team are using successfully. This has happened with the previous
version I was using (no clue what that was, but relatively recent) as
well as the current stable build (1.6.15). The other members of my team
have all since upgraded to 1.6.15 and are still able to commit.
I consulted with our server team on the off chance that it was a server
issue and they found something in the logs which may give a bit of a
clue:
[Mon Apr 18 10:42:26 2011] [error] [client 172.16.22.25] Access denied:
'jcastro' MKACTIVITY fusion:
[Mon Apr 18 10:42:43 2011] [error] [client 172.16.22.25] Access denied:
'jcastro' MKACTIVITY fusion:
[Mon Apr 18 10:50:28 2011] [error] [client 172.16.22.25] (20014)Internal
error: Can't open file '/svn/Fusion/format': No such file or directory
[Mon Apr 18 10:50:28 2011] [error] [client 172.16.22.25] Could not fetch
resource information. [500, #0]
The clue is that it is attempting to open "/svn/Fusion/format' which
doesn't exist. It should be opening '/svn/fusion/format'. I have no
idea where my client got the idea that it should be using an uppercase
"F".
I've been all over the properties and config options for tortoise, I've
re-checked out the repository in a different location, I've re-installed
tortoise and re-checked out the repository, I've checked any AppData
files I could find and I've grepped through the registry in an attempt
to find any reference to an uppercase "F" in the word "Fusion" but all
to no avail. Even tortoise reports a lowercase in the "commit to" field
on the commit screen. No matter how hard I look, I can't find anywhere
that tortoise would be storing this value so that I can change it.
Thorough searches through Google and the archives for the mailing list
yield several folks who have had similar issues. The one fix that has
been suggested is to execute a "relocate", which I did to no avail.
I've exhausted everything I can think to do on my end. Anyone have any
suggestions for fixing this? I imagine I have probably stumbled over
the answer twice at this point and just don't know enough to have
recognized it. Anything you can do to help me along the way would be
greatly appreciated.
