Cross-Platform Tortoise

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to let you know, and get any feed back, concerns or worries.
I love tortoise and have implemented it with-in my own development team.
The problem I'm facing is that we will be developing cross-platform and there is no good tool that works across all operating systems. I don t want to invest the time training the developers on 3 subversion clients.
I know there are alternatives for OSX and Linux but to be honest they are poor in comparison.
So I have started to develop a clone, not a port, but a clone of Tortoise SVN to
run on OSX and Linux. I'm making good progress with this at the moment and
hoping to put some dedicated time aside in March to try and bring out a first release.
I am writing the application in QT so the source can be compiled to any operating system that QT supports. However I have no intention of providing a windows binary. I will insist that people use tortoise svn, or if they must then they can compile there own from source.
I just wanted to see what your thoughts were, and to see if you had any objections or concerns.
Anyway let me know
Dan
