Nice try, but how would you know whether resource utilisation means it
is working or stuck in a loop? And how would you estimate percent
complet? All we would be doing is giving an indication that something
is happening, which in practice doesn't tell you anything. The only
time resource usage will stop is your WC is on a network share and the
network stops responding.

If Subversion were to provide a callback to indicate how many items it
has processed, or something similar, *then* we could show something
meaningful. But you would have to ask for that on the Subversion users
list.
