You're inserting the wrong article there. The second option is "Diff
with previous version", or, more formally, "Diff with /the/ previous
version".
It may sound nitpicky, but articles carry significant meaning, and
adding or dropping them (especially, changing between "a"/"an" and
"the") can significantly change the meaning of a sentence.

English lesson over; back on topic:

I don't understand what you want changed.
The current interface for performing a diff with a previous revision
is to select "Show log" from the context menu, and then select the
desired revision. How would the interface for your requested "Diff
with a previous revision" be different? Do you propose not showing the
log window by default, as for the "Update to revision" dialog? Do you
want "Show log" renamed to "Diff with a previous revision"? Do you
want another option in the menu that does exactly what an existing
option does? Or do you want something else entirely?
