Cannot launch repository browser from Switch dialogue

I can't launch the repository browser from the Switch dialogue by clicking on the '...'-button. This worked with 1.6.7 and previous releases, but 1.6.8 and 1.6.8 only opens the Windows "Browse for folder" dialogue.
I am running WinXP Pro SP3 and TortoiseSVN 1.6.9, Build 19725 - 32 Bit
(This first seemed to be the same issue as "Cannot launch repository browser from Merge dialogue" at http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=4061&dsMessageId=2618836 but the solution to add and remove a space to the URL did not work for me)
