Help window should not obscure Tortoise dialog

When I open help (F1 on "help" button) from any Tortoise dialog, I can no longer get to that dialog until I close the help window.

This is EXTREMELY annoying. Most of the time I want to refer back and forth between the help and the dialog I'm trying to get help with. Or I may wish to leave help open and close the dialog from which I opened the help. These are all valid and useful things one may wish to do.

How about just opening the help window, with its own task button and Alt-tab icon--you know, like happens ordinarily if you just start a new application. Then I could still get to all the open dialogs as needed, and I can close the help dialog whenever I wish (or do not wish) to.

Many other programs are able to do this. (And yes, unfortunately, other programs also do strange things like Tortoise does in this case, and I've never understood why.)
