It's hard to make out what you are saying here because you seem to use
terms interchangeably. I think you mean:

"I completed five operations associated with a revision 168739: three
deletions, two changes/additions. When I requested the log only the
deletions were
displayed. In other words, my two changes did not show up in the log."

There is a checkbox at the bottom of the log dialog "Hide unrelated
paths". Make sure that is unchecked.

Failing that you need to give a better description of what you did.
