Proxy Settings

I am behind a corporate firewall and have input the proxy settings in the config.
Every time I try to checkout a package I get this error:

Checkout from http://svn.mapwindow.org/svnroot/MapWindow4Dev, revision HEAD, Fully recursive, Externals included
Server sent unexpected return value (400 Bad Request) in response to REPORT
request for '/svnroot/!svn/vcc/default'

I've gone over my proxy details and everything seems to be correct. Ive used these saem settings in other software and they work so am at a loss as to why I cant connect. Any help appreciated.
