If you are not subscribed to the mailing list, your post must be
approved by a moderator. One of the following is possible:

A) Your post hasn't been approved by a moderator yet
B) One or more moderators may have felt that your post was too SPAM-like

Also, I don't think messages are sent back to the poster when
redistributed to the list, so you would have to check the list
archives to be certain that the post did or didn't appear.
