Really, if you read the thread, I think its obvious that "this" refers to
TortoiceProc appending to what was specified in the Path.
As for it not being fully automated: its not that we're asking for it to be
"fully automated". We just want the limited automation to not assume that it
knows more than a command line users...I get it trying to be smart on the
GUI end, just not on the command line interface). As for using another SVN
executable, I'd personally prefer that my users typically use TortoiseSVN
exclusively instead of having to use TortoiseSVN plus another SVN executable
that needs to be installed.
Another thing, I'm fairly certain the behavior is recent. It did not due
this on an old 1.4xx version of the client i had. I don't know about the
1.5xxx series since I jumped straight to the 1.6xxx
I personally ended up giving up on this since I know how likely it is to win
these battles and plan on dealing with the fact that some of my users will
have to do multiple installs to get things working for them.
