Hi Stefan,

I installed over the [working] 1.6.4 version on my Win 7 RTM x64 as you
asked, then rebooted (twice).

Same behavior as installing anything later, like 1.6.5 or 1.6.6... the
left-hand Explorer pane only shows the "Modified" overlay, and the
right-hand pane only shows the "Conflicted" overlay.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\TortoiseOverlays\TortoiseOverlays.dll is
version 1.0.10.17375, modified 10/8/2009, and signed by you.

The TCVS 1.11.3 overlays are all gone too, of course.

But it is good to see that this problem is not forgotten... :|

I don't know all of the details of your scheme for sharing the icon
overlay slots, but the one version of TCVS that followed whatever rules
you had laid down (1.11.3) *worked* fine through your TSVN 1.6.4... then
I almost have to assume you changed something which violated your
previously established sharing protocols.

We know that TCVS didn't change anything in that regard, as there hasn't
BEEN a later release from that project.
