No worries, I created a new "trunk" folder and did a checkout from the mentioned url. Everything went through fine ...

I then created a new folder for "branches" and did a checkout on the "https://nhibernate.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/nhibernate/branches/" url. This also went through fine with no issues ...

Even though I don't seem to be having any of the previous issues anymore, I'll answer your questions regardless ...

I know, I just like to know where my repositories are coming from so I can view them through the browser if I happen to forget.

I was getting the error during checkout. The last file that I would see in the dialog box is:

ISqlParameterFormatter.cs

This file is the one before (alphabetically) "MySqlDataDriver.cs". So I'm not sure at what point the dialog is throwing the error.

Perhaps there was a compatability issue with the msvcr90.dll file? I did recently install the latest Sql Express 2008 so perhaps the install updated updated this file, and now tortoise is running fine? Not sure ... I have also in the meantime removed any extra shell extensions I didn't think I needed using Shell Extension Viewer. Don't know what fixed it, but I'm happy I can get this repository out, as I'm actively working on a project that requires this source to unravel a mystery I've hit ...

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
