Dual Repositories - Same Project

Hi All,

I'm working with a local copy of an Open Source project. There is an online
repository, and I have my local repository and local working copy. I don't
contribute to the online version, so I don't need to be able to commit. But
using SVN is the suggested way to get updates (new versions) of this
"package". So, in my local copy, there are files that are part of the core
(that I won't be modifying, but that will change as the "community"
continues development), and, of course, additional files that make up my
"application".

How can I connect to the online repo to get updates to the core files, and
still connect to my local repo for ongoing development of my app?
