Receive notifications immediately for topics I create or reply to

Hello,

With regard to receiving notifications for messages posted to this discussion list, I see there is a 'My subscription settings' page that seems to apply to notification preferences for all topics in this discussion list. For example, I can select Message-by-Message or Digest notification, and I've selected the latter.

However, is there any way I can receive immediate notification for the topics that I create or reply to?

I can't handle the email volume of receiving a notification every time there is a posting to the list, but I would like to receive immediate notification for a topic that I create, reply to, or subscribe to.
