TSVN 1.6.5 & 32 bit Vista install problem

I've been trying to install tortoise on my 32 bit vista system, and am having issues. The installer runs most of the way though, then I get the following error message:
An error occurred during the installation of assembly component
Any suggestions for how to get tortoise to actually install on my system?
