Actually, the current feature in CfM is not quite what we need. While there are situations where it would be nice to see the property value (although that is available via "Properties" on the context menu or the diff), what we really need is the ability to see what happened to a particular property (did it change? was it added? was it removed?). So, the interface would be much the same (with the exception that only properties with modification would be necessary choices as additional columns), but the column contents would just be a status description.

Are the property column values color-coded in the current implementation to reflect modified vs. not modified?

Since something similar already exists on CfM, would it be better to add additional columns (e.g. "<property name> status") so as not to confuse users of the current functionality? Maybe a checkbox / drop-down / button that toggles the display of property contents vs. property status would be better?
