I am sorry if this issue has already been addressed -- I couldn't find
it in the changelog, the mailing list archive or the issue tracker.
Here's the situation:
We have a project with a Subversion server (version 1.4.5 as far as I
can determine) and two contributors. The other person runs TortoiseSVN
version 1.4.5 on XP, while I have version 1.6.2 on XP and 1.6.0 on
Vista.
And the problem:
Now the other person adds a new subdirectory in a shared project and
puts some files into it, then commits. What happens at my end is that
when doing an Update on the system with 1.6.0, the new subdirectory and
files appear in my local repository, but in the system with 1.6.2 they
don't. In the "Show Log" for that project on the system with 1.6.2, I
can see the actions of the other person (adding subdirectories and files
with his commit messages). The Update gives me the new version number
but no files are transferred.
Maybe it is an issue related to the version of the server, but still I
would not expect the behaviour of 1.6.0 and 1.6.2 to be different.
Any ideas?
Makx.
