Thanks Bob: I realize that the server only supports https://, and that's
what I'm using to connect.

I created a second user with a simple password, and it too doesn't
work...however if I access the repository using file:///... it lets me right
in.

I realize this is likely a visualsvn issue so I will move this
thread...thanks again.

VisualSVN server uses apache so you would need to use the http protocol.
Did you try without using the "s".. http://

Are you sure you are using the correct username/password as you created
it. It may be case sensitive.
