It's entirely possible. I just set one on my XP system. Just right click
on the shortcut, choose properties. Select the "Change Icon" button.
Browser to the tsvn folder select the tsvncache.exe program. Click ok.

You could add more icons to this exe as a resource if you wanted to
point to a different one for the shortcut. Or you could just ship and
.ICO file.

If I can do this it is certainly possible for the installer to do it. I
use install shield and you can specify icons for these things. Not sure
what tool you guys build your installer with.

Also, the URL it points to doesn't have a favicon. I am wondering if
putting a favicon there would make it show up in the start menu. It may.
