Bug Report: Revision doesn´t update in working copy after making a commit

Hi:

First I’m going to explain the problem I had and afterwards what I think
might be the source of the problem:

1. In a file based (no server) repository I have done a branch from my
working copy (which was up to date with the head revision).
2. In the revision graph I was expecting to see the branch line from
the head revision out to the new branch revision I had just created.
3. Instead the branch line originates from down below in the version
tree. (picture rev_graph.wmf)

I have reproduced the error consistently with the last tortoisesvn version
(1.5.7, Build 15182 - 32 Bit)

I think the problem is the following:

I have been the only person working on this project so I have only done
commits from the base version but no updates.

In fact, after doing the branch (and before) I could see that according to
the 'subversion properties' in the workcopy, the revision number was 1 even
though it was up to date with the head revision and (therefore it should be
5). (picture Revision.JPG)

I think the problem is that after doing commit, the revision number in the
working copy doesn't get updated.

That's why tortoise thinks I'm branching from revision 1 when I am really up
to date with revision 5.

I hope I got myself explained.

I am just telling you this because I want this tool to get better and
better. Tortoisesvn is a great tool and I hope that all you there keep up
with the good work you've done so far.
