The system cannot find the file specified / Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden

Hello!

I think, I have found a Bug in the Setup TSVN, Version 1.5.x:

My System is
WinXP,Sp3

When installing TSVN, the user, who shall use TSVN in future, is temporarily granted admin-rights.

TSVN is installed, after restart everything works fine.

When you now take the admin-rights from that user, TSVN does not work any more.

The menu-items are visible in the explorer, but when you try to use them, a messagebox("Error","The system cannot find the file specified") pops up.

the cause is that TSVN cannot reach the following dirs in the registry:
hklm/software/TortoiseSVN
hkcu/software/TortoiseSVN
and possibly
hklm/software/TortoiseOverlays

When you grant all rights (read/write...) for all users to these directoties, TSVN even works with normal user-rights.
Maybe it is even enough, when you set them to "read" to the specified user, but i did not try that in detail yet.

Ich glaube, noch einen Bug im Setup von TortoiseSVN, version 1.5.x gefunden zu haben:

Für die Installation wird der Nutzer, der das TSVN in zukunft nutzen soll, nur vorübergehend mit Admin-Rechten ausgestattet.

TSVN wird installiert, Neustart, TSVN läuft prima.

Nun entzieht man dem Nutzer wieder die Admin-Rechte, TSVN läuft nicht mehr.
Es ist im explorer sichtbar, wenn man es aber aufrufen will (und sei es für den About-Dialog) kommt eine MessageBox ("Error","Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden").

Ursache:
TSVN kommt an die folgenden Ordner in der Registry nicht ran:

hklm/software/TortoiseSVN
hkcu/software/TortoiseSVN
und möglicherweise auch noch
hklm/software/TortoiseOverlays

Wenn ich sie auf "vollzugriff" für den betreffenden Nutzer stelle, geht TSVN auch mit eingeschränkten rechten.
Vielleicht würden auch nur Leserechte reichen, das wäre mal zu probieren...
