Agreed, it's not really a big issue.

Disagree with this part. The changelog is far too detailed for a lot
of users, and it is a straight list showing changes in the order they
were made. For end users the release notes are better IMHO as they
highlight the more important changes and add some commentary about
them. That's why I suggest to add a button to display them (there is
nothing in the installer to do that at the moment). The detailed
changelist is really of interest to the more dedicated developers who
are interested in that sort of thing. Hey, I don't even read it myself
(at install time) because I am already watching the mailing lists. It
could even be referenced in a link from the release notes.
