icons in Windows Explorer not turning green on "SVN Commit"

After I do an "SVN Commit" (using right-click in Windows Explorer) on
the top of the project, I would expect all the folder icons to turn
green. But what happens is: only the file icons that were committed
turn green, but the folders above them stay red. Hitting F5 does not
help. All I can do is close the Windows Explorer window, then reopen
a new one... then everything will be green. Is there a workaround for
this?
