RE: BSOD

The BSOD only happens when I get to the point of the Tortoise installation that requires us to sync the Mechanical Folder to the one we created on the local PC. That is the only time it happens, and that is the same on both PC's...

We are running XP Pro. Possible a driver is conflicting with the process?

a BSOD can only be caused by faulty hardware of a bad driver. An application *can not* cause a BSOD, ever (unless you're using Win98).

--> update your drivers (most likely harddrive, IDE, chipset)
and check the system log for messages about bad disk sectors, and run the memory check tool - faulty RAM may also be a possibility.
