Possible Bug: Unable to browse repository root unless I open child first

Start | Run | svn://firebird/sandbox
Get message that says "Server does not support retrieving information
svn list svn://firebird/sandbox works fine
If I do Start | Run | svn://firebird/sandbox/bsanders, I am able to
If I then click on the root, I can see all children.
I have never encountered this problem prior to upgrading to 1.5.3.
