Thanks very much for your reply, I appreciate it !

I took a look at the GPO issue, it seems it requires admin privileges and I
don't have those .. I'm just a team member, not an IT person.

However exporting the registry to file should work Ok.

Just one more (off topic probably) question .. do you know if I can edit the
file by hand and delete stuff that I don't want to export to users? ( e.g. they
are probably not interested in my personal history of commit messages)
